1. The learned Counsel for the alleged contemnor has placed the minutes of the meeting of the Adjourned Extraordinary Meeting of the West Bengal Medical Council held on 2nd December, 2024. The same is taken on record.

2. It appears from the said minutes that the Council has decided to charge five several Doctors, namely, Dr. Dilip Kumar, Dr. Prashant Dwivedi, Dr. Somnath Dey and Dr. Nilendu Gupta on the complaint of the petitioner.

3. This Court is, therefore, of the view that this Court's order has been complied with.

4. It is expected that the proceedings against the aforesaid Doctors are completed within a period of six months from date mandatorily and positively.

5. In view of the aforesaid, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in this contempt application. The instant contempt application shall stand disposed of.

6. Rule, if any, shall also stand discharged.

7. There will be no order as to costs.
