The petitioner is aggrieved by the process of selection of the head teacher to the Vikram Vidyalaya Branch Day Primary School. The petitioner claims that he was the teacher-incharge of the school for a substantial period of time and has also applied for the post of head teacher. The petitioner was empanelled in order of seniority at serial no. 6. The head teacher appointed is not a party to the instant proceeding.

Be that as it may, without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the appointed head teacher, the petitioner may make a formal representation to the Chairman, DPSC, Howrah agitating his grievances as regards the selection process, within a period of 7 days from date. Upon receipt of the representation, the Chairman, DPSC,

Howrah, shall consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same in accordance with law, within a period of 1 month thereafter.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
