The petitioner alleges inaction on the part of the Jangipara Police Station, Hooghly.

Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions dated 14th November 2022 issued by the Officer-in-Charge, Jangipara Police Station, Hooghly addressed to the learned Government Pleader and the same is taken on record.

It appears from the report that the disputes between the parties are purely private in nature since the petitioner and the private respondents are brothers. Curiously the petitioner has not lodged any formal complaint against the private respondents with the Jangipara Police Station. In these circumstances, no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
