1. The petitioners pray for a direction upon the District Magistrate, Purba Burdwan to dispose of the application under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, which was filed in 28th July, 2024.

2. None appears on behalf of the State, despite service. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

3. Learned advocate representing the private respondents submits that, the borrowers have preferred an application before the Debts Recovery Tribunal, which is still pending.

4. Without entering into the merits of the application under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Magistrate, Purba Burdwan being the respondent no. 2 herein to take steps in accordance with law, in response to the application made by the Bank under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act and disposed of the same, at the earliest but positively within a period of thirty days from the date of communication of this order.

5. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
