The affidavit-of-service as filed by the petitioner is taken on record.

2. The grievance of the petitioner that on May 15, 2025 the petitioner has made an application before the Public Information Officer, Dum Dum Municipality prayed for certain information. In spite of receipt of the application, the Public Information Officer has not provided the information. The petitioner also made a representation to the Public Information Officer and also to the concerned authorities but that has also not been disposed of.

3. Considering the above, this Court finds that no purpose could be served by keeping the present writ application pending before this Court.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 3 i.e., the Public Information Officer, Dum Dum Municipality to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner dated May 15, 2025 within a period of two weeks from the date receipt of this order.

5. Accordingly, WPA 24462 of 2025 is disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
