The petitioner was an Assistant Teacher of Untisole R.S. Junior High School, District:
Bankura. He retired from his said service on superannuation on February 28, 2021.
The grievance of the petitioner is that till date he has not received the pension.
The matter was adjourned on January 18, 2023 enabling the learned advocate for the State to take instruction from the concerned authorities and to apprise this Court about the reason of delay in disbursement of such benefit. Mr. Chakraborty, learned advocate for the State, submits that he has taken the instruction as directed, the Pension Payment Order in the name of the petitioner has already been issued. Mr. Pati, learned counsel for the petitioner, also acknowledges such submission of Mr.
Chakraborty. A copy of the Pension Payment Order is filed by Mr. Chakraborty be kept with the record.
In view of aforesaid development, WPA 24400 of 2022 is disposed of with a direction upon the concerned authority to start paying the pension to the petitioner without any further delay.
There shall be no order as to costs.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
