The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities and as such has approached this Court.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report which reflects that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, Kalna Police Station Case No. 1150/2024 dated 01.10.2024 has been registered for investigation and the same is in progress.

Having considered the fact that the grievance of the petitioner has been addressed by the State, I am of the view that no further direction is required to be passed by this Court.

The investigating agency is directed to take the investigation to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 25122 of 2024 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
