Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the application dated September 13, 2024 filed by him before the learned trial Court, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the application.

It appears that the petitioner filed an application before the learned trial Court on September 13, 2024 stating that his daughter Raziya Sultana attained majority and was residing in her matrimonial home after her marriage and as such was not entitled to maintenance. The application is yet to be considered by the learned trial Court.

In view of the above, the learned trial Court is directed to consider and dispose of the application on the next date of hearing fixed before him upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to both the parties, in accordance with law. In the event the learned trial Court is unable to take up the application for consideration on the next date, it shall be disposed of within 2

weeks thereafter. The learned trial Court shall dispose of the application before proceeding with the matter further. With the above observations and directions the instant revisional application being CRR No. 4307 of 2024 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
