The Sub-Divisional Officer, Krishnagar Sadar, District : Nadia, the respondent no.3 herein has passed an order for removal of unauthorized encroachment of public land on July 18, 2024. The petitioner, alleging inaction on the part of the said respondent to implement the said order, has filed the instant writ petition.

Mr. Sengupta, learned Senior Government Advocate submits that he has enquired into the matter and has come to learn that the respondent no.3 has already taken appropriate steps for implementation of the order dated July 18, 2024 and in fact, has fixed July 25, 2025 as a date for removal of the unauthorized encroachment from the subject public land.

In view of such development, no further order need be passed in the matter.

WPA 24907 of 2024 is, thus, disposed of without any order as to costs.
