Petitioner submits that there is no direct evidence when he had committed murder though he had checked the hotel room in the victim. It is his contention that he had left the hotel room on 25.1.2024 and the victim was murdered thereafter. Accordingly he prays for bail. 3.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses and other materials show petitioner and victim checked into the hotel on 23.1.2024. He left the hotel on 25.1.2024. Nothing is placed on record to show that the victim was seen alive after the petitioner had left the hotel.

In view of the aforesaid materials on record and gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.
