The petitioners have alleged that the State authorities issued a notice of requisition of their land and asked them to deliver possession of the land on 20th July, 1978. Though such land was acquired by the State authorities, no compensation has been granted to the petitioners till date. In the meanwhile, the original owner of the land expired and the petitioners have been substituted in his place. The petitioners submitted a representation before the authorities ventilating their grievance which was received by the authorities on 29th July, 2019.

But such representation has not been considered till date. The petitioners pray for a direction upon the respondent no.2 to consider the representation.

Upon hearing the submissions made by the parties and material on record, the writ petition be disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.2 to consider and dispose of the representation filed by

the petitioners and received by the authority on 29th July, 2019 after affording a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the affected parties including the petitioners within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order, in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, WPA 22378 of 2019 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit in opposition is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted.
