Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, the petitioners were falsely implicated. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the injury report of the victim and the statement of the neighbour recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.).

The statement of the neighbour implicates the petitioners. The police complaint was lodged within four years of marriage. In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to any of the petitioners.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 5195 of 2022 is dismissed.
