Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks for an electricity connection to run an agricultural submersible pump over her agricultural land for the purpose of irrigation.

Learned counsel for the respondent/ WBSEDCL who appears and states that they will provide electricity connection on the petitioner's property after compliance of all requisite formalities within a period of four weeks.

Learned counsel for the respondent/ WBSEDCL states that he had received adequate instruction from his client to make the statement.

Learned counsel for the respondent/ WBSEDCL shall remain bound by the statement made before this Court.

The electricity connection shall be installed to the petitioner after compliance of all formalities as required by the respondent/WBSEDCL within a period of four weeks.

Petitioner is granted liberty to approach this Court, if his grievance is not met within the time prescribed.

The present writ petition is disposed of with the above terms.
