The petitioners want to return to their residence after being enlarged on bail. They are living in a separate district out of fear from the private respondent. Officer-in-Charge, Daspur Police has submitted a very fair report dated 17th November 2022, which is taken on record. They have indicated that they contacted the petitioners through their family members to ask them to return to their residence. The petitioners were also contacted by their family members, who want them back. The petitioners only fear reprisals from the private respondent.

In these circumstances, the petitioners shall return to their residence.

In the event of any apprehension, expressed by the petitioner, the Officer-inCharge, Daspur Police Station shall extend necessary assistance.

The Investigating Officer shall also warn the private respondent against harming the petitioners and maintain a strict vigil at the petitioners' premises. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
