1. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

2. Considering the materials available in the case diary, the statements of the mother, uncle and other relatives of the victim and also of the neighbours recorded under Section 161 Cr.P.C. and the post-mortem report which suggests that the death was due to effect of strangulation and the said post-mortem report prima facie corroborates with the statement of various independent witnesses recorded under Section 161 Cr.P.C., we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
