The petitioner prays for a direction upon the respondent authorities for consideration of his representation, which was made demanding payment of certain amount on account of the work done in connection with drain, passage etc.

It appears from records that the said representation was received by the office of the respondent authorities on May 28, 2019.

As it appears that the representation of the petitioner is pending consideration at the end of the respondent authority, no useful purpose will be served by keeping the writ petition pending. The same is accordingly disposed of by directing the respondent no. 4, being the Municipal Commissioner, to appoint a

competent officer to decide the demand raised by the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of ten weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the claim of the petitioner and all points are left open to be decided by the appropriate authority in accordance with law.

WPA 22432 of 2019 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties after completion of all legal formalities.
