Petitioners alleged that despite an order of the learned trial Court directing the parties to maintain status quo in respect of the nature, character and possession of the property in question till disposal of the suit, the private respondents were conducting Rash Mela in the property in violation of the said order.

It appears from the report that on physical verification, the police authority did not find any structure therein for holding the Rash Mela. The police was informed that the Rash festival was organized at some other place in the same village and not in the disputed property. In view of the above, and also since Rash festival is over, nothing further remains to be dealt with in the present application. The same is accordingly disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
