1. Petitioner no.1 is the wife and petitioner no.2 is the mother-in-law of the victim respectively.

2. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that petitioner no.1 and the victim married while former was a minor. The victim was an emotional person and took his own life. As a result, petitioners have been falsely implicated. Accordingly, they pray for bail.

3. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

4. We have considered the materials on record including the suicide note. The suicide note begs mercy from petitioner no.1 i.e. wife of the victim. Allegations against petitioner no.2 are vague and nonspecific. Under such circumstances, we are of the opinion further detention of the petitioners is not necessary.

5. Therefore, the petitioners, namely (1) Maitry Majumder @ Maitri Majumdar & (2) Soma Majumder, be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) each, with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to

the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranaghat, Nadia subject to condition that the said petitioners shall appear before the trial court on every date of hearing until further orders and shall not intimidate witnesses or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever.

6. In the event they fail to appear before the trial court without justifiable cause, the trial court shall be at liberty to cancel their bail automatically without reference to this court.
