No. 1998 of 2022, pending before the Court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Howrah. Mr. Neil Basu, learned Counsel, appearing on behalf of the accused person sought for adjournment.

Mrs. Sreyashee Biswas, learned Senior Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the State, submits that a necessary order may be passed in this case.

Prayer is innocuous. Therefore, the instant application being CRR 4331 of 2024 stands disposed of, giving direction to the Learned Trial Court to expedite consideration of charge. In case charges are framed, trial should be expedited, without unnecessary delay.

The instant Criminal Revision being CRR 4331 of 2024 stands disposed of.
