The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-consideration of a representation dated 11.10.2025 addressed to the respondent WBSEDCL. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the private respondent had unlawfully and illegally obtained an electricity connection by relying on forged and fabricated documents. On behalf of the respondent WBSEDCL, it is submitted that in consideration of the representation filed by the writ petitioner, a notice has been served on the private respondent.

In view of the above, WPA 24564/2025 is disposed of by directing the WBSEDCL the

respondent no. 1 to consider and finally dispose of the representation dated 11.10.2025 within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the case and WBSEDCL is directed to decide the same strictly in accordance with law.
