Mr. Roy, learned advocate representing West Bengal Central School Service Commission submits that petitioner appeared before the concerned authority of West Bengal Regional School Service Commission, Western Region on 17th January, 2025 for being considered to be appointed under died-in-harness category on the recommendation being forwarded by the
Regional School Service Commission, Western Region to West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.
On instruction it has been submitted on behalf of the Commission today that petitioner opted for Beliatore High School, Bankura and considering availability of vacancy in the said school recommendation shall be issued to West Bengal Board of Secondary Education for appointment of the petitioner on compassionate ground.
In view of such submission made on behalf of the Commission, concerned authority of the Regional School Service Commission, Western Region is directed to forward recommendation in favour of the petitioner for her appointment under died-in-harness category on compassionate ground by fortnight from date. On receipt of such recommendation, concerned authority of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education is directed to issue appointment letter in favour of the petitioner by eight weeks thereafter on completion of necessary formality.
With the above observations and direction, writ petition stands disposed of.
There shall be, however, no order as to costs.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
