1. The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition seeking a direction against respondent no. 2 for the installation of a new electricity connection in the shop no. 7 measuring 100 Sq. ft. situated on the ground floor of the premises at Mouza Chakpara, J. L. No. 111, Revenue Survey no. 1975 appertaining to the Dag nos. 1762 and 1758 under Khatian no. 901 and appertaining to Dag no. 1759 under Khatian no. 34 within the jurisdiction of Chakpara Anandanagar Gram Panchayat, Bhattanagar, Paschim Para, P.S.- Bhattanagar, District - Howrah.

2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that certain objections were raised by the private respondents against the grant of the said electricity connection. However, private respondents nos. 4-9

have appeared before this Court through their counsel and upon instructions from their clients unequivocally stated that they have no objection to the grant of a new electricity connection to the petitioner. They have handed over 'no-objection' declaration to the Counsel for the petitioner in open Court.

3. Learned Counsel for the respondent authorities submits that in light of the amicable resolution of the dispute between the parties, the respondent authorities have no objection in providing new electricity connection, subject to the fulfillment of necessary formalities.

4. In view of the categorical statements made by the private respondents as well as the unopposed stand of the respondent authorities, their remains no subsisting dispute for adjudication in the present writ petition.

Consequently, the respondent authorities - WBSEDCL are directed to provide the electricity connection to the petitioner after completion of the all requisite formalities by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from date.

5. With the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.
