Petitioner submits that he is in custody since 21st February, 2021. Charge sheet has been submitted. Charge has been framed and witnesses are being examined. Petitioner is in custody for 4 years and 9 months.

Learned advocate for the State submits that only 2 witnesses are left to be examined and the next date is fixed on 21.11.2025.

Having considered that only 2 witnesses are to be examined, the State is directed to conclude the evidence by 31.12.2025.

Petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court, if within the aforesaid period, prosecution evidence is not complete.

At this stage, CRM (M) 2194 of 2025 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
