Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner and the report submitted by the State are taken on record. The petitioners intend to perform Jagadhatri Puja upon being granted necessary permission by the Inspector in charge/Officer in charge Bishnupur Police Station and the BDO, Bishnupur-I subject to compliance of the conditions stated in their application dated 13th October, 2025.

It appears from the report submitted by the State that the police authority has received an e-mail communication from the petitioners intimating proposed visit of the dignitaries at the inauguration ceremony of the puja. The report further demonstrates that necessary police arrangements are being made according to protocol for such visit.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Inspector in charge, Bishnupur Police Station, being the 4th respondent herein, to arrange for adequate

security measures and ensure that no untoward incident takes place and there is no breach of law and order during the visit of the dignitaries.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
