The petitioners are confirmed Assistant Teachers of the primary schools under the DPSC, Purba Bardhaman, they are praying mutual transfer.

The petitioner no.1 is a teacher of Telenuri F.P. School under Jamalpur East Circle of the D.P.S.C., Purba Bardhaman, the respondent no.7 herein whereas the petitioner no.2 is a teacher of Dainhat Adarsha F.P. School under Dainhat Circle of the D.P.S.C., Purba Bardhaman. The representations of the petitioners for such mutual transfer, dated July 22, 2024 and August 29, 2024 respectively are pending consideration before the Chairman of the said District Primary School Council, the respondent no.8.

The respondent no.8 is directed to consider and dispose of the said representations in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

WPA 25071 of 2024 is disposed with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
