1. Affidavit of service, as filed, be kept with the record.

2. The petitioners are aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent nos. 4 & 5 in holding the election of the office bearers of the respondent no. 4. The time mandated under Rule 36(5) of the West Bengal Cooperative Societies Rules, 2011 being thirty days, has long expired.

3. During the course of hearing, I have been informed by Mr. Nayak, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent nos. 4 & 5, that the date of election for the office bearers, has been fixed on 12.12.2025.

4. The respondent nos. 4 & 5 are directed to hold the elections for the post of office bearers on 12.12.2025 without any further delay.

5. The respondent no. 7 is directed to ensure adequate police deployment at the venue of the election and also to ensure that peaceful elections are held on 12.12.2025.

6. With these directions, WPA 24609 of 2025 is disposed of. No order as to costs.
