Mr. Singh, learned senior advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for almost 4 years and there has been hardly any progress in the trial of the case. In fact, presently, the court is lying vacant. Prosecution has examined 11 witnesses and it is submitted presently that the State intends to examine 16 more witnesses. There are vulnerable witnesses whom the prosecution intends to examine. Prosecution, as such, is directed to complete examination of 10 more witnesses within the next six months, preferably by 31st May, 2026.

Petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court after the aforesaid period is over.

Presently, the prayer for bail in CRM(M)2170 of 2025 is

dismissed.
