We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is the principal accused. He does not stand on the same footing with his wife who has been enlarged on bail on the ground of being a lady with special needs.

In view of the principal role played by the petitioner in the crime and the gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and his prayer for bail is rejected. (Gaurang Kanth, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
