Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. Records reflect that in connection with the Tehatta Police Station case no. 409/22 dated 22.05.2022 charge has already been framed in the case, date has been fixed for evidence on 24th July, 2024.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner referred to the chargesheet which reflected that there are six witnesses. Having considered the same I direct the learned Trial Court to fix at least one date in every two months on and from 24th July, 2024 so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No unnecessary adjournment should be granted to either of the parties. With the aforesaid observations CRR 3991 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
