This is an application for addition of party. The applicant is an Assistant Teacher at Jesarat Tola Primary School, under Manikchak-I Circle of the District Primary School Council, Malda; she is praying intra-district general transfer. The petitioners of the connected writ petition since are also praying intra-district mutual transfer; the applicant prays for her addition so that her prayer for such transfer may be considered along with them.

To facilitate the comprehensive consideration of the prayer(s) of the petitioners and of the applicant, the prayer for addition is allowed.

Department is directed to amend the cause title by adding the applicant as petitioner to the connected writ petition. CAN 1 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

WPA 25028 of 2024:- Report as directed by the order dated December 13, 2024 is filed on behalf of the DPSC, Malda; let it be kept with the record. The original petitioners, so also the added petitioner, are confirmed Assistant Teachers in different primary schools under the DPSC, Malda; they are praying intra-district mutual transfer.

The representations of the petitioners are pending consideration before the Chairman of the said Council, the respondent no.5 herein; the said respondent is directed to consider and dispose of those representations expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

WPA 25028 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties, subject to compliance of all requisite formalities.
