Claiming party with one Parbati Sandel & Anr. who were granted anticipatory bail on 2nd January, 2024 in CRM(A) 4295 of 2023, a prayer for anticipatory bail is made.

2. The learned Counsel for the State however, opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the materials available in the case dairy and also considering the rule ascribed to the present petitioner of physical assault on three persons and the medical report clearly shows that the injured does not suffer head injury, we are of the view that the petitioner is not similarly placed as that of Parbati Sandel and Anr. and we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the present petitioner.

The prayer for anticipatory bail of the present petitioner is rejected. (Soumen Sen, J.)
