1. Heard learned lawyers for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Narcotics above commercial quantity i.e. 30 bottles of phensedyl syrup was recovered from the petitioner and co-accused. Trial is at its fag end.

3. In view of the aforesaid circumstances and statutory restrictions under section 37 of the NDPS Act we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly prayer for bail is rejected.

5. Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date preferably within six months from the next date fixed for recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. (Ajay Kumar Gupta, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
