No. 70, Khatian No. 2887, situated at Mouza - Chechura, Taldangra, District - Bankura. The petitioner alleges that respondent nos. 8 to 11 are attempting to raise a construction on the said plot of land without obtaining any permission from the Panchayat Authority.

Respondent nos. 8 to 11 are not represented. Let the affidavit of service filed by the petitioner be kept on record. It appears that the petitioner has made a representation before the Taldangra Gram Panchayat, a copy whereof appears at page 54 of the writ petition. In view of the above, there is no necessity to keep this writ petition pending. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Taldangra Gram Panchayat to consider and dispose of the said representation in accordance with law, after giving an

opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as respondent nos. 8 to 11, and to complete such exercise within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

In the event any unauthorised construction is found, the Pradhan, Taldangra Gram Panchayat, shall take appropriate steps under Section 23(5) of the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973.

Accordingly, WPA 24743 of 2025 stands disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
