Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

By the present writ petition, the petitioners seek for direction upon the respondent authorities to grant mutual transfer.

The petitioners contend that the petitioner no. 1 is presently an Assistant Teacher of Baita C.B. Primary School, Lalgarh Circle, District Jhargram. The petitioner no. 1 joined the said school on 16th March, 2007. The petitioner no. 2 is an Assistant Teacher of Indra Narayan Kiran Bala Vidyalaya under XVI Circle, District Kolkata. The petitioner no. 2 joined the said

school on 28th July, 2021. The service of both the petitioners are duly approved by the concerned authority. Petitioner No. 2 is suffering from various gynecological problems. The house of petitioner no. 1 is 167 kms. away from her school and that of petitioner no. 2 is 182 kms. away from the her school. The petitioners applied for mutual transfer through "Utshasree Portal". However, the same is still pending consideration. Hence this writ petition.

Mr. Santanu Maji, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submit that the matter be relegated to the appropriate authority for consideration of the prayer of the petitioners seeking mutual transfer.

Learned advocates appearing for the respondents leave the matter to the discretion of the Court.

In view of the submissions advanced by the respective parties, respondent no. 4, the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education is directed to consider the application of the petitioners for mutual transfer submitted through "Utshasree Portal" and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order in accordance with law, upon notice to the petitioners, within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week from the date of passing of such order.

Learned advocate for the petitioners is directed to communicate this order to respondent no. 4, the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education for necessary compliance.

With the above directions, the writ petition being no. WPA 24537 of 2025 stands disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to be not admitted.

Consequently, connected applications, if any, also stand disposed of.

12.

Interim orders, if any, stand vacated.

13.

There will be no order as to costs.

14.

Urgent certified photostat copy of this order, if applied for, shall be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance of all necessary formalities. (Bivas Pattanayak, J.)
