1. Affidavit-of-service, as filed, be kept on record.

2. The supplementary affidavit as filed today on behalf of the writ petitioners is taken on record.

3. Mr. Mastafa, learned advocate for the petitioners in course of his submission draws our attention to the order dated 15th May, 2024 as passed by the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal (in short, said Tribunal) in OA 2970 of 2019. It is submitted that a long date has been fixed by the said Tribunal which causes serious prejudice to the present writ petitioners.

4. It is further submitted by Mr. Mastafa that after passing of the order dated 15th May, 2024, the original applicant before the said Tribunal has again effected service upon the respondents in OA 2970 of 2019.

5. Mr. Siddiqui, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the State respondents on virtual mode duly assisted by Ms. Dutta and Mr. Adak, learned advocates submits before this Court that no case has

been made out by the writ petitioners for obtaining a favourable order, as prayed for.

6. Considering the submissions made at the bar and while disposing the instant writ petition, we request the said Tribunal to dispose of OA 2970 of 2019 reasonably on 21st April, 2025 or as expeditiously as possible preferably within 2 (two) months thereafter after being satisfied with regard to the service upon the respondents in OA 2970 of 2019.

7. With the aforementioned observations, the instant writ petition is disposed of.
