Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that he has been attempting to repair his shed. However, the same is obstructed by the local police authorities and, as such, he is suffering.

The aforesaid contention is disputed by the learned advocate appearing for the State and submits that the police authorities have no interference in the property of the petitioner.

I do not find any information being furnished before the superior authorities of police in respect of the act and action of any officer of Jamuria Police Station. Having considered the same, I direct that the petitioner would be at liberty to intimate his grievance to the Deputy Commissioner-in-Charge of Jamuria Police Station who would consider the contents

thereof and if he finds substance, he will act in accordance with law.

Report so submitted by the learned advocate for the State be kept with the record.

It has been pointed out that the police authorities have taken steps and drawn up proceedings under Sections 107/116 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 25074 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
