Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 2 years 8 months and only three witnesses, till date, have been examined. Learned advocate further submits that evidence so deposed, till date, do not inspire confidence for implication of the present petitioner.

Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that five witnesses have already been examined and evidence of the case implicates the present petitioner only.

Having considered the post mortem report and the attending circumstances so collected by the investigating agency in course of the trial, I am of the view that the manner in which the deceased was murdered is grave and

heinous in nature. As such, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Learned Trial Court would take steps for expediting the trial of the case.

The application for bail, being CRM (M) 2177 of 2025, is, thus, disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
