Patra Ms. Supriya Dubey .....for the WBCSSC The petitioner has questioned the selection process which has been conducted by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission that is 1st SLST (Upper Primary) for appointment of Assistant Teachers in Government aided High School.

The learned advocates representing the petitioner and the West Bengal Central School Service Commission are heard.

It is submitted by the learned advocate representing the petitioner that the petitioner was an untrained candidate who obtained training qualification in 2019. Whereas the cut off date which has been fixed by the Commission for acquiring training qualification is 24th October, 2016 in connection with the aforesaid selection process.

Since the petitioner could not obtain training qualification on or before 24th October, 2016 she does not have right to be considered for being appointed as Assistant Teacher in connection with 1st SLST 2016 (Upper Primary). On behalf of the petitioner no statutory provision has been shown which would make the petitioner eligible to be considered not being a trained candidate.

Accordingly the writ petition stands dismissed There shall be, however, no order as to costs.
