Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has received the affidavit-of-compliance. He has handed over a copy of the order passed by the alleged contemnor no.1 i.e. Chairman, South Dum Dum Municipality. The same is taken on record. It appears from the order that the alleged contemnor no.1 has considered the case of the petitioner in terms of the impugned order dated 02.04.2025.

In view of compliance of the impugned order dated 02.04.2025, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present contempt application.

Accordingly, the present contempt application stands dismissed as not pressed.

The petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh writ petition in accordance with law.
