The petitioner prays for grant of interest on account of delayed payment of her terminal dues. 2.

From the E-PPO it appears that the petitioner retired from service on 1st February, 2024 and the E-PPO was issued on 28th April, 2025.

Learned advocate representing the State respondents has obtained instruction from the District Inspector of Schools (S.E), Jhargram wherefrom it appears that the petitioner opted for voluntary retirement. Her application was considered by the School Authority and she was permitted to retire voluntarily w.e.f. 1st February, 2024.

The petitioner submitted her application for obtaining pension in the E pension portal on 4th January, 2025.

Her application was thereafter processed and E-PPO has been issued on 28th April, 2025.

Upon hearing the submission of the parties and on perusal of the materials placed on record it appears that there is hardly any delay in the issuance of the E-PPO in favour of the petitioner. 7.

In view of the above, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of interest on account of delayed payment cannot be allowed.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.
