23.06.2021 Court No.30 rpan/14 IA No.: CRAN 1 of 2020 [Old No.: CRAN 874 of 2020] in CRM 11458 of 2019 (Via video Conference) In Re: Santanu Sarkar

...Petitioner.

Mr. Madhusudan Sur, Mr. Dipankar Paramanick ... for the State The present application has been preferred for relaxation of the conditions of bail, as imposed in the order dated 6th December, 2019 passed in CRM No. 11458 of 2019.

Mr. Sur, learned advocate appears on behalf of the State. Records reveal that anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioner on 6th December, 2019 with conditions that "petitioner shall meet the investigating officer once in a week until further orders and shall appear before the court below and pray for regular bail within a period of four weeks from date." It appears from the averments made in the application that pursuant to the said order dated 6th December, 2019 the petitioner surrendered before the learned court below and obtained regular bail. As the prayer for regular bail was granted by the learned court below, the directions contained in the order dated 6th December, 2019 stood merged with the said order. In view thereof, the condition in the order dated 6th December, 2019 to the effect that the "petitioner shall meet the

investigating officer once in a week until further orders" does not survive.

The application, being CRAN 1 of 2020 [Old No.: CRAN 874 of 2020] is, accordingly, disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Md. Nizamuddin, J.) (Tapabrata Chakraborty, J.)
