Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for eight months. Charge sheet has already been submitted. The disputes and differences was between two brothers, as a result of which the unfortunate incident took place and as such, the petitioner may be released on bail.

Learned Advocate for the defacto complainant submits that in the meantime, there was an information furnished for threatening the wife of the deceased. 3.

Learned Advocate for the State has drawn the attention of this Court to the statements of the two witnesses whose statements have been recorded by the learned Judicial Magistrate.

Having considered that charge has already been framed and witness action is about to commence, I am of the view that at this stage, petitioner is not entitled to be released on bail.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 2180 of 2025 is dismissed. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
