Petitioner Mr. Pallab Mohan Chakraborti ... for the Petitioner The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that copies of 207 Cr.P.C. including the charge-sheet which was served on 30th of May, 2019 reflects that a particular advocate has received the same.

I find that the accused persons, in this case, are Biswajit Roy and Dipankar Bhattacharjee.

The petitioner submits that he never engaged the concerned advocate who has received the same and some other advocate was representing him.

Without going into the issues so canvassed regarding whether the petitioner has received the copy or the lawyer has received only single set of copies, I direct the ld. JM, Nabadwip to give the set of documents under Section 207 of the Cr.P.C. including the charge-sheet on the next date so fixed for hearing before the ld. trial court.

The ld. trial court would hand over the document and, thereafter, commence the evidence.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 4007 of 2023 is disposed of Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta.
