Case No.1068 of 2024), which is pending before the Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Serampore, Hooghly.

1. Petitioner was granted interim bail by the Coordinate Bench on November 8, 2024.

2. No material is placed before the Court to suggest that the petitioner misutilized the liberty granted to the petitioner by the Coordinate Bench.

3. Materials on record do not require us to take a view contrary to that which the Coordinate Bench took on November 8, 2024 while granting interim bail to the petitioner.

4. In such circumstances, we confirm the interim bail granted to the petitioner on November 8, 2024.

5. Accordingly, we direct that the petitioner, namely, Jakir Mal @ Rabin @ Muslim Mal @ Zakir Mal, shall be

released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Serampore, Hooghly, subject to conditions that the petitioner shall appear before the learned trial court on every date of hearing until further orders and shall not intimidate witnesses and/or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever.

In the event, the petitioner fails to comply with the conditions as enshrined hereinbefore, it is open to the trial court to cancel the bail without further reference to this Court.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed.

CRM (DB) 3489 of 2024 is disposed of.
