Report is submitted by the Superintendent of Police, Ranaghat Police District dated 06.02.2025. The same is taken on record.

It appears from the report that four constables have been deployed to protect the petitioner. The report also reveals that an FIR being No. 118 of 2025 has been registered against the petitioner by the Santipur P.S., inter alia, under Section 103(1)/3(5) of the BNS. 3.

The orders passed in the writ petition and the contempt proceeding shall not stand in the way of the investigation by the Santipur Police Station into the aforesaid FIR No. 118 of 2025.

The police picket shall continue for a period of one month from date.

With the aforesaid observations, the contempt application shall stand disposed of. Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.

There shall be no order as to costs.
