Mr. G.N. Imrohi Mr. Partha Pratim Sinha ....for the petitioners Mr. Moyukh Mukherjee Ms. S. Banerjee ....for the de facto complainant Md. Anwar Hossain ....for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case due to political rivalry. The two prime accused involved in the matter were arrested and were thereafter granted bail.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the de facto complainant strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He refers to the bed head ticket and the injury report and shows that injuries were inflicted on vital parts of the body like face and there were fractures inflicted on the face and the nasal bone and the like. He also refers to the statements of the victim and other witnesses.

Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary and the alleged roles ascribed to the present petitioners, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
