The allegation of the petitioners is that the private respondent Nos.10 and 11 are illegally running a brick field under the name and style "Aysa Brick Field" in the area of Village Gayespur under Police Station Santipur in the District of Nadia. The further allegation is that the brick fields are being run on the plots, most of which are recorded/classified as "Aush", "Sikistibhumi", "Baluchar" etc. and no conversion of the plots has been done. It is also alleged that the chimneys have been illegally erected and river soil is being illegally mined for using in the brick fields. Record reflects that the petitioners have filed a representation dated 01.08.2022 which has already been forwarded by the Special Secretary to the Government of West Bengal vide communication dated

WPA (P) 552 of 2022 18.08.2022 to the respondent No.3 (The District Magistrate, Nadia).

Since the representation is already under consideration before the respondent No.3, therefore we dispose of the present petition by directing the respondent No.3 to give an opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties and take appropriate decision/action in accordance with law on the pending representation as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
