The petitioner is a suspended teacher of a school. He challenges the order passed by the President of the ad-hoc Committee of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education dated 22nd August, 2025.

It appears therefrom that the Board contemplates initiating disciplinary proceeding against the petitioner.

According to the petitioner, the charges are all false and misleading. It has been submitted

that disciplinary proceeding cannot be initiated relying on those charges.

Learned advocate representing the respondents submits that there is allegation of huge defalcation of fund.

The Board has already issued a show cause and the same has been replied by the petitioner. The charge sheet will be issued shortly.

Upon hearing the parties, it appears that the Board is already contemplating initiating disciplinary proceeding against the petitioner. It will be open for the petitioner to defend himself before the authority.

At this stage, there is hardly any scope for interference by the writ Court.

In view of the above, the writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.
