Review of this Court's orders dated 29th August, 2025 and 24th September, 2025 is sought on the ground that the appellants' lease stood expired with efflux of time in April, 2025 and, therefore, could not have been granted additional three years.

This Court notes that the appellants were not handed over the ferry ghat despite being successful auction bidders due to obstruction by the review applicants who were operating the ferry ghat prior thereto. This Court, therefore, held that, the appellants not having been given possession of the ferry ghat, their term could not commence and hence could not have ended in April, 2025. It is in that context that the Court had directed the

appellants' term for running the ferry ghat to commence from the date they were given possession.

This Court is of the view that the review application is in gross abuse of process of law. 4.

Accordingly, R.V.W. 329 of 2025 shall stand dismissed with costs assessed at Rs. 25,000/- payable by the appellants to the office of the District Magistrate, Murshidabad.

The District Magistrate, Murshidabad is entitled to recover the same, if not already paid, under the provisions of the West Bengal Public Demand Recovery Act, 1913.

Consequently, CAN 1 of 2025 shall also stand dismissed.

Interim orders, if any, shall stand vacated.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
