Mr. Shyamal Kumar Das, Ms. Smita Pal, Mr. Krishna Yadav ...for the petitioners This is an application wherein petitioner has prayed for expeditious hearing of G.R. Case No.1900 of 2021 arising out of Rishra Police Station Case No.138 of 2021, presently pending before learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Serampore, Hooghly. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the case is pending for a considerable period of time and the petitioner is suffering difficulties due to such delay and the Court below had not taken appropriate action to expedite the hearing of the proceeding.

Having heard learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, I find that if the prayer made in the application is allowed, the opposite party will have no cause to prejudice and as such the service of application upon opposite party is dispensed with. Having heard learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner I find that the prayer made by the petitioner is justified and required to be allowed for the ends of justice. In such view of the matter, CRR 4681 of 2025 is hereby disposed of with a direction upon the Court below to make every endeavour for expeditious disposal of the aforesaid proceeding being G.R. Case No.1900

of 2021 and to make his best efforts to conclude the entire proceeding preferably within a period of six months from the next date of hearing. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta. ( Dr.Ajoy Kumar Mukherjee, J. )
